We don’t talk about our Patreon often enough.
That has created a strange situation. While we’ve been working on new books and expanding La Notte Eterna, the Patreon has quietly grown into a second library for the setting.
It now holds dozens of releases for players and Game Masters, including complete adventures, setting chapters, maps, creatures, printable miniatures, and material that never reached the main books.
Some releases can fill a night at the table. Others can keep a campaign busy for months.
Everything works with La Notte Eterna, of course. Most of the rules material also drops easily into another 5e campaign. Change a place name, lower the lights, and let your players make the next bad decision.
Here’s what has been hiding in the vault.
A Full Campaign About the Worst Possible Wish
What would your character do to live forever?
The Seal of Immortality is a 56-page illustrated campaign built around that question.
Somewhere in Neir lies the formula for a 9th-level True Magic spell that can grant eternal life. The formula was split into five fragments. Each one waits in a place no sensible adventurer would visit.
Naturally, your players will want all five.
The search begins in the Mines of the Eight Families, deep in the Hidden Lands. From there, the party crosses haunted crypts and hostile realms. Forgotten temples and cursed ruins lead toward a power that can change Nebvarasa.
The campaign runs across five connected acts. Later sections support characters from 7th through 10th level and beyond.
You get ready-to-run encounters, original monsters, major NPCs, new spells, magic items, puzzles, rewards, and the complete ritual.
It also adapts easily to another 5e setting.
Eternal life causes trouble in almost every world.
Watch the Hidden Lands Take Shape
The Tome of the Hidden Lands is one of the largest projects currently growing through Patreon.
It explores the world beneath Neir, where entire peoples have built lives far from the surface. Patrons have already received chapters covering its ecology, playable peoples, underground realms, and some of the systems that keep those places running.
The recent Trading and Meteors chapter deals with a problem adventurers rarely think about until it ruins their day: what happens when your money becomes useless after crossing a border?
The chapter covers barter and exchange rates, financial records, contraband, divine relics, and local currencies. It also adds one hundred meteors created for the Hidden Lands.
Your party can survive a cave beast and carry its treasure into the next realm. There, they may discover they’ve become the proud owners of decorative metal.
Earlier chapters introduced the Amadahy, Mycathan, Ishkrit, klorss, Vesharûn, and U’gun.
You get their histories and cultures, along with rules you can bring directly to the table.
New sections arrive in English and Italian while the book is still being built. That means patrons are reading the setting while it takes shape, with a chance for feedback to reach us before those pages are finished.
Twenty-Four Issues of The Star Gazer
The Patreon also holds the complete archive of The Star Gazer, our 5e zine.
There are twenty-four issues.
Each one gives you material that can become a short detour or the start of something much larger.
A library passes judgment on its visitors. A war boils beneath the ground. A murmuring root waits under the soil. A city built on stilts keeps dangerous secrets.
Other issues take you to Darkflame, Öuin, Edeber, Rodern, and places beyond the usual roads.
You’ll meet strange rulers and creatures with unfinished business. There are mysteries to solve and fights to survive. Several situations will get worse as soon as the party says, “We have a plan.”
You can place these stories inside Neir or carry them into your own 5e world.
The archive gives you a deep supply of material for the night when your players walk away from the adventure you prepared.
The Star Gazer #24 deserves a separate mention. We brought this special issue to SPIEL in Germany in 2025, and we’re including it with this article as a free download.
It contains a complete one-session adventure with a dungeon, a boss fight, printable pawns, and battle maps. It’s an easy first step into La Notte Eterna if you want to see how the setting feels at the table before going deeper.
Consider it a small sample of the treasures hiding inside the Patreon vault.
The Monsters Come With Bodies
Recent creature releases have followed a useful pattern.
Wonder Master patrons receive the complete PDF and printable STL first. Grim Knight patrons receive the illustrated creature PDF the following month. The STL remains in the Wonder Master vault.
The Votive Maw is a recent example.
Lord Varec of Öuin kept life-sized wax figures of his ancestors. His twelve-year-old son found a True Magic grimoire and decided the figures should get up during dinner.
They did.
By morning, the butler was dead and the family was driving several generations of Varecs into a bonfire.
This is how Neir gained a monster made from living wax.
In a world where the sun hasn’t risen in 161 years, almost every inn and chapel depends on candles. Castles and crypts are full of them too. So are respectable dining rooms.
Put a few candles on your battle map and watch your players become suspicious of basic lighting.
The Sixfold Knot grew from another sound decision.
Imperial researchers fused six condemned prisoners into one obedient soldier. The creature stayed obedient long enough for the project to be declared a success.
It can knot its long body into a hulking guard or uncoil into a fast crawler. Four arms let it seize several heroes at once. It moves across walls and ceilings, then throws victims around the room.
It also has an ability called Pull Apart.
The name covers the important details.
The STL vault reaches further back, with the Kurna, Rotloss, Efesta the Witch of Darkheart, printable relics, and the La Notte Eterna d4.
If your 3D printer has been sitting quietly, this tier will fix that.
More Things Found Behind the Door
The archive reaches beyond monthly rules material.
When Darkness Fell is a recovered La Notte Eterna comic that had been out of circulation for years.
The Sacred Beast brings back an adventure whose last printed copies disappeared at SPIEL.
You’ll also find hand-drawn battlemaps, including a collision between ships in the cursed fog of Goldking Bay. Previews of miniatures and setting art open a few more windows into the world.
Taken together, these releases show how much of La Notte Eterna exists beyond the core books.
They also give you something useful to steal for the next session, which is usually the better test.
Which Patreon Tier Should You Choose?
The prices below are monthly. Patreon adds VAT where required.
Dark Adept, €1 per month
Dark Adept costs about the same as one espresso each month.
You get the full Star Gazer archive in web quality and early Hidden Lands chapters in simple text format. You also receive access to the patron Discord channel, occasional store discounts, and posts showing how La Notte Eterna is made.
This is the easiest place to start if you’re curious and want to look around.
One euro keeps you inside the project and helps us keep the page alive.
Grim Knight, €3 per month
This is the tier we recommend to most players and Game Masters.
Grim Knight unlocks The Star Gazer in print quality and the full archive of extra 5e material.
You also receive Hidden Lands draft chapters, including updates and corrections as the book develops. Major releases such as The Seal of Immortality are available here.
For €3 per month, this tier gives you a large amount of material you can read, save, print, and use at the table.
For most groups, this is where the vault really opens.
Wonder Master, €7 per month
Choose Wonder Master if you own a 3D printer and want the deepest access.
You receive every Grim Knight benefit, plus the full STL vault and exclusive drops.
Wonder Masters can also make direct fan requests. The tier includes a path for contributing compatible material to future releases under the program rules, with credit as a contributing author.
Wonder Master gives us the strongest support for keeping Patreon active and adding new work.
It’s the best fit if you want the complete collection, especially the printable miniatures, and you want to help us keep building it.
Quick Tier Guide
- Dark Adept: Start here if you want the Star Gazer archive, early Hidden Lands material, and a low-cost look inside the project.
- Grim Knight: Pick this if you mainly want adventures, print-quality zines, monsters, and extra 5e material.
- Wonder Master: Pick this if you want everything in Grim Knight plus the STL vault, exclusive drops, and deeper participation in the project.
