We get it — shipping can feel expensive. But here’s the truth: we actually cover a significant part of the shipping cost ourselves. What you pay at checkout is far lower than what we’re charged by DHL and Poste Italiane.

We don’t use fulfillment centers or third-party logistics. We’re a small, independent company based in Gaeta, a seaside town in central-southern Italy. Every order is hand-packed by us and shipped from our only warehouse.

While we’ve tested cheaper couriers in the past, the results were costly: lost or damaged packages, delayed deliveries, and poor support — not just for us, but for our customers. That’s why we now rely on DHL for international orders, which offers better tracking, faster delivery, and real human support when things go wrong.

Shipping rates also include:

• VAT (charged to us by the courier),
• packaging materials (which we carefully choose to protect your order),
• fuel surcharges (fees based on fuel price fluctuations),
• and payment processing fees (which can be surprisingly high on international transactions).
  

There are many hidden costs behind the scenes, and we absorb as many as we can. On average, our net profit per order is around 20–30% of the total paid —
and even that often gets reinvested into creating and delivering the products we love, and hope you’ll love too.
